Operational Facilities Managers receive Sustainability & Environmental Management Training

To improve overall environmental and sustainability awareness within PriDE, a six module course has been developed. Created in conjunction with Interserve Project Services, the course aims to provide and introduce key concepts in environmental management and demonstrate how they are applied within the contract.

It is structured to provide a balance between classroom teaching and practical exercises to consolidate learning by using real case studies and scenarios that will be familiar, such as current projects.

The course is currently being rolled out to Project Managers, Site and Service Managers, and Support teams who have an impact on the delivery of sustainability and environmental management within the contract. The aim is to train over 70 people in this initial roll out.

An additional two courses were run before Christmas with two more being run this year.
