Conversion to Female Single Living Accommodation

Background

Cavalry Barracks, located in West London, has a shortage of Single Living Accommodation (SLA). The existing female personnel were located off site in a semi-detached house with inadequate modern facilities. The estate has a number of existing unused or derelict buildings, and so a study was undertaken to ascertain which building within the estate could be effectively converted into modern facilities for the female personnel. The derelict building 22 was identified and chosen for conversion. The need to maintain the aesthetic appearance of the existing building, whilst undertaking a cost effective and timely conversion, were the main considerations of this customer funded project.

Since contract commencement PriDE has had a string of successes for the awards cabinet!
